eine vielleicht blöde frage

hallo!

bin auf der suche nach einem f-body auf einen 76er Formula 350 gestoßen.

meiner recherche nach gabs nur formula 350 bis baujahr 73. und alle anderen 350er sind esprit.

jetzt bin ich etwas verunsichert, da der wagen ziemlich gut aussieht!


ich hoffe ihr entschuldigt mein, noch nicht sehr ausgebautes wissen über 2nd gens.

...die Quelle/Quellen der Recherche muss/müssen aber lausig sein...

...also...pauschal und kurz gesagt, 350er (5.7L) Motoren standen für den 2nd Gen Formula bis einschliesslich Modelljahr 1978 zur Verfügung...!
...natürlich auch für den 76er Jahrgang des Formula...
...ab 1977 war dann der 301er als Standard im Formula, optional zwei 350er und 400er...


Zitat aus dem weitgehend korrekten "Red Book" für den 1976er Jahrgang:
"Engine availability was the same, although certain engine-transmission combinations were not available in California. As the 350 ci two barrel engine was not certified for California, the 350 ci four barrel engine was optional on the base and Esprit and only with the automatic transmission.
The standard engine on the Formula was the 350 ci V-8 two barrel, except in California where the 350 ci four barrel teamed to the Turbo hydra-matic. The 400 ci V-8 was standard on the Trans Am and optional on the Formula; however, California-bound cars again came only with the automatic. The 455 HO was available only on the Trans Am except in Califonia, as it came with the four-speed manual.
This would be the last year for the 455 ci engine and the honeycomb wheels."
