Die gegossene Nr. 557752-3B sagt folgendes:

Die eingeschlagene Nr. 39M315790 sagt folgendes:
3 = Oldsmobile Division
9 = Year of Manufacture (7=77'/ 8=78'/ 9=79' )
M = Location of Manufacture (M=Lansing/ B=Boltimore/ X=Cansas City/ Z=Fremont)
xxxxxx = last six digits of Vin of car that motor originally came in !
